Improvements to the 53c8xx SCSI series

Well, while the 24c16 datasheet is clear and available, there doesn't seem to be many examples of code about wiring it to the 53c8xx, which is needed by the Symbios SDMS bios of such cards. Tekram also used this wiring in the 3.xx bios series of the DC310/DC390F/U/W.
